Indmeas has calibrated the first LNG-measurement

Indmeas has successfully tested the transit time method on LNG flow measurement calibration.

The test measurements were carried out in a real process environment during the loading of LNG containers at the Nynäshamn harbour in Sweden.

Quality assurance of LNG measurements have generally been considered challenging, because the material is easily evaporating, the flows are often large and the temperatures can arise to around 160 ° C. It is practically impossible to reach the these circumstances in a laboratory.
