Alholmens Kraft and Indmeas have started co-operation in order to enhance the
effectivity of the steam network in the power plant. The goal for the co-operation is to find the best possible ways to raise the effectivity based on processdata.
Alholmens Kraft 2 was established year 2001 in Pietarsaari and is the largest bio-fuelled power plant in the world. The power plant produces district heating for the inhabitant of Pietarsaari and process steam and heat for the industry.
