Indmeas has introduced a new calibration method

Indmeas is now utilizing a new calibration method, developed in-house. The new technique enables accurate flow measurement calibrations on-site in potable water pipelines without any health or safety concerns. Years of development have brought the overall uncertainty for volumetric flow calculation determination below 2 %. 

The first significant calibrations were performed for total outgoing flow measurements at a leading Finnish water utility plant.

The new method provides the possibility to calibrate flow measurements at locations where traditional radioactive tracers are forbidden. Possible applications can be found in water utilities and food & beverage industry.”
